Challenge.

As companies and users explore different LLM platforms, they face a frustrating lack of data portability. Valuable chat histories remain trapped in individual ecosystems, leading to vendor lock-in, data fragmentation, and a loss of context when switching providers. Manual transfer is tedious, error-prone, and often insecure - forcing users to copy and paste conversations one by one. A scalable, secure, and user-friendly solution is needed to reclaim ownership of conversational data.

Approach.

We designed a cross-platform desktop application with a local-first architecture that guarantees privacy and control. Using Electron and modern UI technologies, we integrated secure web views, automated DOM extraction, and native system features to deliver a seamless migration experience without uploading any user data to the cloud.
